What is collected

• Contact details you enter at checkout: email address and, if you provide one, a phone number.
• Shipping details: recipient name, institution or lab name if given, street address, city, state or region, postal code, country, and any note you attach to the order.
• Order history: the lines you ordered, with the product name, size, SKU, unit price, quantity and discount recorded as a snapshot at the time of the order.
• Research use confirmation: the fact that you confirmed the research use statement is stored with the order.
• Cart contents: your cart lives in this store's database, linked to a random identifier held in a first-party cookie so the cart survives a page reload.

What is never collected

No card numbers, bank details, or other payment credentials are collected or stored by this site, because no payment processor is connected to it. Orders are recorded with a pending payment status and payment is arranged separately, outside this site. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before any payment feature goes live.

There are no advertising pixels, no cross site tracking scripts, and no analytics profiles built about you.

Cookies

One first-party cookie is set, named rpo_cart. It holds a random identifier that points at your cart record. It carries no personal information, is not readable by other sites, and expires after thirty days. No other cookies are set by this site.

How the information is used

To record and fulfil your order, to issue an invoice, to arrange shipping, to answer questions about an order, and to keep the business records an order creates. It is not sold, rented, or used to build a marketing profile.

Who it is shared with

Only with the parties needed to complete the order: the carrier that delivers the shipment, and the party that issues and collects on the invoice. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to respond to a lawful request.

Retention and security

Order records are kept as business records for as long as required for accounting, tax and regulatory purposes. Cart records are removed as they age out of use. Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in this store's database. No system is perfectly secure, and no absolute guarantee of security is made.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion where there is no legal obligation to keep it. Send the request from the email address on the order to [email protected] and include the order number.

Who may use this store

This store is for research settings and for people aged eighteen or older. It is not directed at children, and information about children is not knowingly collected.

Governing law and changes

This policy is governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of the page changes with it. Continuing to use the store after a change means the updated policy applies.
